Want to help food banks during the pandemic? Here's how.

We launched Project Clean Pantry to help area Food Banks restock their shelves so they can feed the hungry. Hunger is closer than you think: many people right in your community are making tough choices between buying food and paying medical bills or rent, and nobody can thrive when they’re hungry.

The good news? You can make a meaningful difference! Join us at Project Clean Pantry:

    1. Grab a big box, survey your pantry.
    2. Deposit the nonperishables you can spare into box.
    3. Send an email to friends, family and neighbors asking them to do the same or to drop off items to you in the box you placed on your porch or outside your door.
    4. Gather the generous donations and drop them off to your local food bank. You don’t even have to get out of your car; mask-wearing helpers will happily remove the items for you.

Easy right? We’ve even developed a toolkit to make joining the hunger fight simple, with a helpful email template for asking friends and neighbors to donate along with a sample flyer, please download a copy here.

Please join the movement and post your pictures on social media, with the hashtag #ProjectCleanPantry. Take a look at our own pictures below!

At Robinson Hill, we’re joining in to help the fight against hunger in Washington, DC to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank, a Feeding America partner. The need has never been greater. Please come join the fight!
